After 6 minutes, Severiano Lop mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huracan de los Feris and the Riquelmista players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Riquelmista booed when Huracan de los Feris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Lop didn't get a good kick on the ball. Huracan de los Feris's Basilio Salbatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Chinto in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Huracan de los Feris's Isaias Inguma got a free kick in the 11th minute. Riquelmista's Ignacio Hernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Riquelmista from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Riquelmista's zone, Desiderio Loco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Hernandez came out of the goal and Desiderio Loco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Huracan de los Feris booed when Riquelmista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Cordaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignacio Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Baleren in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Riquelmista's goalkeeper Ignacio Hernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Desiderio Loco. In the 22nd minute of the match, Inocencio Chorche tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ignacio Hernandez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomiro Cordaro during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Riquelmista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Chinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marciano Chinto in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basilio Salbatore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gaudencio Tohias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Chinto in the 47th minute of play forced Huracan de los Feris's goalkeeper Basilio Salbatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inocencio Chorche kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marciano Chinto was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Riquelmista's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Chorche came free, but Ignacio Hernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Riquelmista's Ignacio Hernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Baleren in the 56th minute of play. Basilio Salbatore was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dragoş Brășneanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 60 minute of play. After 62 played minutes Riquelmista got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Licerio. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacobo Baleren in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Ignacio Hernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Loco in the 69th minute of play. Jacobo Baleren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marciano Chinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Salbatore having to interfere. After some careless play in the Riquelmista defense, Desiderio Loco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ignacio Hernandez. The Riquelmista fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ignacio Hernandez should have stopped the shot. Isaias Inguma kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. A hard shot 88 in the game by Marciano Chinto from a close distance when the talented Basilio Salbatore managed to make a qualified save. Huracan de los Feris's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Gaudencio Tohias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riquelmista's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaudencio Tohias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Salbatore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huracan de los Feris's goalkeeper Basilio Salbatore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Jacobo Baleren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Riquelmista were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
