First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Christian Cristofol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Savion having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Agustin Abilio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aston Birra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Pikin the free kick. In the 28th minute, Agustin Abilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aston Birra FC's attentive Carlos Jaen managed to snatch the ball when Jacinto Raebert made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Gilberto Urre could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Manfredo Vander however easily saved by the left post. If Gilberto Urre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Aston Birra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Lain came free, but Damaso Savion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Froilan Lain left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Pikin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Club Atlético Pikin made a substitution. Florentino Javiar replaced Orlando Peyo. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Cesar Lamberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Christian Cristofol came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Club Atlético Pikin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Cristofol couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Aston Birra FC's Damaso Savion got control of the ball when Florentino Javiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Aston Birra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Lamberto to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Aston Birra FC's goalkeeper Damaso Savion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Javiar. Gilberto Urre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Manfredo Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alonzo Segio fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aston Birra FC's protests and gave Alonzo Segio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club Atlético Pikin booed when Aston Birra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Segio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Club Atlético Pikin's Froilan Lain in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 84th minute, Cesar Lamberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aston Birra FC's Damaso Savion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Cristofol in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 played minutes Aston Birra FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Weather. The long shot by Generoso Iztal in the 97th minute really tested Damaso Savion's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Atlético Pikin had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
