Isidoro Xabat scored 2-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vinicio Furtado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th match minute, Escalante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Geofredo to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Steven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vinicio Furtado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Xabat in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Feliu in the 20th minute of play forced Escalante's goalkeeper Vinicio Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Napoleon Rode shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ombucta FC booed when Escalante was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Tano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Escalante's Vinicio Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Feliu in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Napoleon Rode got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Ombucta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Escalante's Vinicio Furtado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Escalante from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidoro Xabat to make the kick off. Albano Beltxe kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When Isidoro Dunixi fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Escalante's protests and gave Isidoro Dunixi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute, Isidoro Dunixi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Feliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinicio Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Paul in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Napoleon Rode cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Vinicio Furtado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute Napoleon Rode shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ombucta FC's Timoteo Santos got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th match minute, Escalante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Aguilera to maneuver through the defense.
