Justo Quintan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Lorenzo Lucian when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Emilio Mosen scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vinicio Furtado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lorenzo Lucian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Quintan, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Lorenzo Lucian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justo Quintan went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the match, Taboada AFC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Lucian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Dunixi. If Isidoro Dunixi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Isidoro Dunixi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Taboada AFC's Lorenzo Lucian. Lorenzo Lucian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Godfredo Beltran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isidoro Dunixi took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lorenzo Lucian. Lorenzo Lucian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Isidoro Dunixi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Escalante's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Dunixi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Lucian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Taboada AFC's zone, Isidoro Dunixi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Lucian came out of the goal and Isidoro Dunixi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justo Quintan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Lorenzo Lucian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paolo Pero hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Taboada AFC's Lorenzo Lucian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Quintan in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match Anselmo Joseph sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lorenzo Lucian skillfully saved the ball. In the 81st minute, Laureano Ongile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justo Quintan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Lorenzo Lucian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lorenzo Lucian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Dunixi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 minutes, Godfredo Beltran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taboada AFC and the Escalante players grew even worse after the yellow card. Godfredo Beltran hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justo Quintan in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorenzo Lucian saved Taboada AFC from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Escalante fans cheered their team off the field, for while Taboada AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
