Spectators: 7376 (Terracing: 5533, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 147) C. A. Pueyrredón's Marcial Semeno started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Candido Dino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquiles Paz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Camerino in the 4th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Angelino Camerino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malota FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelino Camerino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Paz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horacio Intxixu during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, Horacio Intxixu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute Marcial Semeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Gaitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Semeno was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 20th minute, Isidro Niva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. Pueyrredón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 25 played minutes C. A. Pueyrredón got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Cisco. In the 26th minute of the match Juan Rubio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aquiles Paz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Angelino Camerino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malota FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Camerino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Candido Dino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Aquiles Paz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Isidro Niva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Camerino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Paz having to interfere. Gustavo Cisco's late challenge caught a Malota FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Cisco helped the player get up and apologised. Juan Rubio placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelino Camerino in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquiles Paz saved C. A. Pueyrredón from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Malota FC's zone, Marcial Semeno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Gaitano came out of the goal and Marcial Semeno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelino Camerino to strike the kick off in the second half. Severiano Gaitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Niva in the 52nd minute of play. Candido Dino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Aquiles Paz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Malota FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Sidoro to maneuver through the defense. Candido Dino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Paz having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelino Camerino in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquiles Paz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Marcial Semeno came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the C. A. Pueyrredón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Semeno couldn't finish the play. When Horacio Intxixu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. In the 68th minute, Horacio Intxixu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquiles Paz made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Candido Dino sent off a good shot on target. Isidro Niva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Gaitano having to interfere. Severiano Gaitano came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Pueyrredón's Isidro Niva. But to his dismay, Isidro Niva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Marcial Semeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Isidro Niva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Gaitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C. A. Pueyrredón fans cheered their team off the field, for while Malota FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
