Herminio Abel lost his temper 10 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 11 played minutes Gobernador Costa F.C got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Abel. Ezequiel Ralondo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Delmar Papo. In the 13th match minute, Gobernador Costa F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Locaio to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes in the game Jatsu Obregon did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Leandro Santikurtz. Serafino Sancho lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Gobernador Costa F.C a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aristides Fernandes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gimnasia Mza's Feliciano Belo. 0-1. Gimnasia Mza's Delmar Papo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cristo Rocendo in the 29 minute of the game. Victorio Chano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliciano Belo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Gimnasia Mza's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Fernandes came free, but Feliciano Belo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eleuterio Asur in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliciano Belo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, Victorio Chano notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Gimnasia Mza's Feliciano Belo. Feliciano Belo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Aristides Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Feliciano Belo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute of the game Jatsu Obregon made a throw-in which Eleuterio Asur played forward. Feliciano Belo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Chano, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Ezequiel Ralondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Cesario in the 62nd minute of play. Gimnasia Mza were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Gobernador Costa F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Delmar Papo took the corner. Silverio Markel thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ezequiel Ralondo, a very annoying self made goal in the 66th minute which led to 1-3. In the 71st minute of the match Leandro Santikurtz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliciano Belo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 72 played minutes Gimnasia Mza got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Papo. A hard shot by Leandro Santikurtz from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Feliciano Belo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Feliciano Belo made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Eleuterio Asur sent off a good shot on target. If Amador Cesario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristides Fernandes got free with Feliciano Belo in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Gobernador Costa F.C's Aristides Fernandes in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gimnasia Mza's goalie prevented a goal. Feliciano Belo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Victorio Chano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 83 minute of play. Amador Cesario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Gimnasia Mza's goalkeeper Feliciano Belo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristides Fernandes.
