Romulo Gudesteo took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Peli. Norberto Peli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 10 played minutes Quijano FC got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Lorencio. In the 16th minute Alejandro Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Txema saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Peli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Ponciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Romulo Gudesteo took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Peli. Norberto Peli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 24th match minute, MiRey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Esquipula to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Ponciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MiRey's Maximo Jerrald got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florencio Txema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Lorencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Tomás Perrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romulo Gudesteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Peli having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonatan Firmo to make the kick off. Jonatan Firmo might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norberto Peli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonatan Firmo ran back to his position shaking his head. MiRey's Maximo Jerrald got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonatan Firmo in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norberto Peli saved Quijano FC from getting behind. Quijano FC's Norberto Peli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Ponciano in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, MiRey's Ovidio Esquipula got a free kick in the 60th minute. Norberto Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Ponciano in the 63rd minute of play. Romulo Gudesteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Peli having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Quijano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Firmo came free, but Norberto Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jonatan Firmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quijano FC's Aurelio Guillelme was substituted for Cornelio Lorencio. If Romulo Gudesteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute.
