After 4 minutes of play, Sportivo Coghlan's Florentino Otoniel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Baleren was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Mariano Baleren's late challenge caught a Sportivo Coghlan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mariano Baleren helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Quintan in the 23rd minute of play forced Sportivo Coghlan's goalkeeper Casper Muggleton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florentino Otoniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Papo having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Paulo Pelagius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mogote FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Pelagius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Papo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Figueroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The Mogote FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sportivo Coghlan were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Aureliano Quintan made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the game Modesto Berdaitz made a throw-in which Sixto Figueroa played forward. Casper Muggleton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Quintan in the 63rd minute of play. Casper Muggleton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Quintan, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Paulo Pelagius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Muggleton having to interfere. Casper Muggleton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Quintan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Florentino Otoniel took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Tomas Papo to make any attempt to save it. Tomas Papo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Otoniel in the 88th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Florentino Otoniel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Coghlan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The Sportivo Coghlan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sportivo Coghlan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
