Ramiro Micael charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Micael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabio Darien got free with Tomas Papo in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Madero Harbour's Tomas Papo threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonardo Larra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Larra in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Papo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Mogote FC's zone, Fabio Darien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Papo came out of the goal and Fabio Darien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Leonardo Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Madero Harbour's Wesley do Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomas Papo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Mogote FC's Aureliano Quintan in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The wind increased when Aureliano Quintan made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Madero Harbour getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Virgilio Raulo hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernabe Boniel during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Madero Harbour booed when Mogote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Boniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wesley do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 57 minutes, Leonardo Larra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Madero Harbour's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Larra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute Wesley do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Papo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 minutes of play, Madero Harbour's Wesley do Vale made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomas Papo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aureliano Quintan might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulino Eutropio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Quintan ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulo Pelagius struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Paulino Eutropio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mogote FC. After 70 played minutes Mogote FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Baleren. Paulino Eutropio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Pelagius, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Tomas Papo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Larra in the 80th minute of play. Wesley do Vale struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Tomas Papo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madero Harbour. When Madero Harbour's Leonardo Larra in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mogote FC's goalie prevented a goal.
