Spectators: 7374 (Terracing: 5532, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Roque Abastas took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Gilberto Herrera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ciriaco Irrintzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Arsenio Esquipula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Irrintzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Modestio in the 20th minute of the match. Godofredo Maldonado kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Boedo Argentina's Narciso Fero got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Matias Errando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Esquipula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esfumados's goalkeeper Ciriaco Irrintzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Esfumados's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Filiberto Guifre was slow to take the kick. During this time Boedo Argentina's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Boedo Argentina's Filiberto Guifre to fire away a dangerous shot which Ciriaco Irrintzi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Geronimo Calixto notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Esfumados's Ciriaco Irrintzi. Ciriaco Irrintzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ciriaco Irrintzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Calixto in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Esfumados's zone, Filiberto Guifre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Irrintzi came out of the goal and Filiberto Guifre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciriaco Irrintzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Herrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Gilberto Herrera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Herrera was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Filiberto Guifre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ciriaco Irrintzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ciriaco Irrintzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Modestio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Herrera in the 59th minute of play forced Esfumados's goalkeeper Ciriaco Irrintzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciriaco Irrintzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Calixto, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Filiberto Guifre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ciriaco Irrintzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Esfumados's Ciriaco Irrintzi got control of the ball when Gilberto Herrera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciriaco Irrintzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Herrera's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Boedo Argentina's Narciso Fero shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 75th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ciriaco Irrintzi but with some difficulty. Eliseo Modestio took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciriaco Irrintzi. Ciriaco Irrintzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 82 minutes into the match, Filiberto Guifre notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Esfumados's Ciriaco Irrintzi. Ciriaco Irrintzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Godofredo Maldonado missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 92 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Matias Errando right hand side. Boedo Argentina's Matias Errando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Abastas in the 94th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Herrera in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciriaco Irrintzi saved Esfumados from getting behind. Boedo Argentina's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
