Ciriaco Irrintzi was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Everardo Ursino shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Patrick Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, Geronimo Evis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Paulino Eutropio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 21 minutes, Patrick Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Madero Harbour's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick Paraibano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esfumados's Ciriaco Irrintzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Pasqual in the 24th minute of play. Ciriaco Irrintzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Koldo in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes, Ladislao Iliana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esfumados and the Madero Harbour players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Esfumados:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Madero Harbour:s goal. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Madero Harbour. Everardo Ursino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ciriaco Irrintzi. 1-1. Arsenio Esquipula kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match, Wesley do Vale tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ciriaco Irrintzi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Gaudencio Pasqual's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciriaco Irrintzi was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 36th minute, Fabio Darien left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Madero Harbour fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 45th minute, Madero Harbour's Gaudencio Pasqual ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ciriaco Irrintzi. Ciriaco Irrintzi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaudencio Pasqual to make the kick off. 3-2 became the score in the 51st minute when Roque Abastas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Paulino Eutropio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geronimo Evis in the 54th minute. Ciriaco Irrintzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley do Vale in the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to Esfumados getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Roque Abastas hit a great ball. Patrick Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gaudencio Pasqual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71st play minutes Gaudencio Pasqual shot 4-2, a short shot which went by Ciriaco Irrintzi and just under the crossbar into goal. Madero Harbour's Gaudencio Pasqual got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th match minute, Esfumados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Esquipula to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Gaudencio Pasqual's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciriaco Irrintzi was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, Madero Harbour's goalkeeper Paulino Eutropio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geronimo Evis. Ciriaco Irrintzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Micael in the 81st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Esfumados's zone, Gaudencio Pasqual stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Irrintzi came out of the goal and Gaudencio Pasqual tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute Patrick Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Esfumados's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Darien came free, but Ciriaco Irrintzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciriaco Irrintzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaudencio Pasqual's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Fabio Darien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramiro Micael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Madero Harbour players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
