Spectators: 7314 (Terracing: 5487, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sixto Giraldo got the match started through his kick off. When Nueva chicago's Sixto Giraldo in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esfumados's goalie prevented a goal. Ciriaco Irrintzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Giraldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 minutes, Zacarias Hanot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nueva chicago and the Esfumados players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes Nueva chicago got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Hanot. If Sixto Giraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Igor Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes Esfumados got a freekick which was hit by Juan Bastian. Igor Umea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Osvaldo Mitxaut kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Diego Beltran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geronimo Evis in the 38th minute. Sixto Giraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geronimo Evis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixto Giraldo in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Irrintzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute, Arsenio Esquipula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roque Abastas to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Sixto Giraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Umea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ciriaco Irrintzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixto Giraldo in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Irrintzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute, Arsenio Esquipula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esfumados's Ciriaco Irrintzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Esfumados from getting a goal against them. Diego Beltran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geronimo Evis's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Geronimo Evis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esfumados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Evis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Esfumados's Geronimo Evis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Beltran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Igor Umea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nueva chicago's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Umea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Irrintzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Esfumados's Arsenio Esquipula got a free kick in the 78th minute. Igor Umea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nueva chicago's Sixto Giraldo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciriaco Irrintzi made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Igor Umea sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Esfumados's zone, Zacarias Hanot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Irrintzi came out of the goal and Zacarias Hanot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 94 in the game by Igor Umea from a close distance when the talented Ciriaco Irrintzi managed to make a qualified save. Esfumados's players were relieved. In the 95th minute, Sixto Giraldo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ciriaco Irrintzi, passed just outside the right post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nueva chicago players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Esfumados.
