Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aureliano Quintan took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Nueva chicago got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Ramirez. 4 minutes into the match, Mariano Baleren notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Nueva chicago's Diego Beltran. Diego Beltran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Paulo Pelagius came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Mogote FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Pelagius couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Cosme Michael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Mogote FC's goalkeeper Tomas Papo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Mitxaut. Tomas Papo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Giraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Paulo Pelagius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Pelagius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aureliano Quintan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nueva chicago's goalkeeper Diego Beltran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aureliano Quintan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Diego Beltran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Nueva chicago's Tomas Papo threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sixto Giraldo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tomas Papo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sixto Giraldo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Tomas Papo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixto Giraldo to make the kick off. Tomas Papo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Mitxaut in the 54th minute of the match. One of Nueva chicago:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mogote FC:s goal. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Mogote FC. Mariano Baleren stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Diego Beltran. 2-2. Aureliano Quintan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Diego Beltran when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Osvaldo Mitxaut hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
