Damaso Gaztea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute of the match Everardo Goi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Poncio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 8 minutes, Benicio Olando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River Plate and the Parque Avellaneda players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Parque Avellaneda booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Olando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristobal Geleberto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hernan Rico. After 12 minutes, Uriel Lia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parque Avellaneda and the River Plate players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Parque Avellaneda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Lia to maneuver through the defense. Parque Avellaneda's Alfredo Poncio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Handi in the 16th minute of play. Cristobal Geleberto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mădălin Datcu in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Lia came free, but Cristobal Geleberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Parque Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Ciano. Lino Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the match Apolo Silviano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Poncio skillfully saved the ball. Mădălin Datcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Geleberto having to interfere. Alfredo Poncio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Steven, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A collision led to Parque Avellaneda getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Uriel Lia hit a great ball. A hard shot 32 in the game by Mădălin Datcu from a close distance when the talented Cristobal Geleberto managed to make a qualified save. River Plate's players were relieved. 33 minutes into the game, Fernando Handi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Parque Avellaneda the free kick. The supporters of Parque Avellaneda booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Handi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Parque Avellaneda's Rodrigo Ciano got a free kick in the 36th minute. Damaso Gaztea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Poncio having to interfere. Cristobal Geleberto stood somewhat misplaced when Mădălin Datcu came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 40 minute. The wind increased when Mădălin Datcu made the kick off in the second half. If Mădălin Datcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Geleberto came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Parque Avellaneda's Mădălin Datcu. But to his dismay, Mădălin Datcu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 59th minute, Uriel Lia made a precise shot to the right of Cristobal Geleberto. River Plate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 63rd minute, Ismael Gartxot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Mădălin Datcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Geleberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66thth minute of the game Mădălin Datcu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate's Cristobal Geleberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angelino Steven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Poncio having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mădălin Datcu in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristobal Geleberto saved River Plate from getting behind. After 78 minutes, Mădălin Datcu made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. River Plate's Cristobal Geleberto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 80 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Ramos. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mădălin Datcu in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristobal Geleberto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88thth minute of the game Uriel Lia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate's Cristobal Geleberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Everardo Goi hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Uriel Lia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristobal Geleberto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uriel Lia went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Parque Avellaneda were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of River Plate for a fine match.
