Though ot was a great shot Manteca atlétic's keeper Artemio Pio was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 34 minutes into the match, Depor Los Pinos's Samuel Criston sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artemio Pio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Manteca atlétic getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Criston was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes Manteca atlétic's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dionisio Kismi who took care of the corner kick. Depor Los Pinos's Emilio Palladino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Artemio Pio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Samuel Criston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Depor Los Pinos's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Criston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artemio Pio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Depor Los Pinos's Mariano Librado got a free kick in the 61st minute. Nereo Manilan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Freddy Dayam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Depor Los Pinos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Dayam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artemio Pio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Criston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Samuel Criston's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artemio Pio was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 69th match minute, Manteca atlétic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Satordi to maneuver through the defense. Manteca atlétic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Depor Los Pinos the free kick. Nicasio Rufio hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Freddy Dayam was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Depor Los Pinos's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal.
