Rosendo Gai didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Club Atlético River Plate's Mariano Lucado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eloy Baleren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lucado in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eloy Baleren saved Pinamar from getting behind. When Mariano Lucado came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Club Atlético River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lucado couldn't finish the play. Eloy Baleren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lucado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rdth minute of the game Blas Dantae who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pinamar's Eloy Baleren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lucado in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Baleren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético River Plate's Hilario Galeno got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lucado in the 36th minute of play forced Pinamar's goalkeeper Eloy Baleren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Mariano Lucado put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Eloy Baleren. After 44 minutes, Virgilio Panpili mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinamar and the Club Atlético River Plate players grew even worse after the yellow card. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Herminio Jerrold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Club Atlético River Plate's Mariano Lucado in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pinamar's goalie prevented a goal. 84 minutes into the match, Club Atlético River Plate's Mariano Lucado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eloy Baleren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariano Lucado made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 86thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Eloy Baleren would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 94th minute, Club Atlético River Plate's Blas Dantae dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Club Atlético River Plate's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
