When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Henric made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Emporioneta's zone, Virgilio Eskuin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Bertin came out of the goal and Virgilio Eskuin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute, Jonatan Theodore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Emporioneta getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Manuel Gonzo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Pilciao's Alfredo Henric slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aquiles Bertin. That made the score 0-2 after 63 minutes of play. Mauricio Steven stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evaristo Gervaso's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Emporioneta's Aquiles Bertin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Emporioneta from getting a goal against them. Manuel Gonzo was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Manuel Gonzo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Delmar Mancio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilciao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmar Mancio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute, Alfredo Henric ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquiles Bertin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 82 minutes into the match, Emporioneta's goalkeeper Aquiles Bertin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Henric. Evaristo Gervaso hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Alfredo Henric who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Aquiles Bertin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Benigno Christobal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Henric in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquiles Bertin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pilciao's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
