Amado Sasoin made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Rigoberto Ranolfo sent off a good shot on target. Gogo Azeari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Ralondo in the 16th minute of the match. Mariano Gaspard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Amancio Dolfos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gogo Azeari was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. 25 minutes into the match, Libertador Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Koldo came free, but Amado Sasoin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Gaspard kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Libertador Nacional's Benito Ralondo got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gogo Azeari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Ralondo in the 34th minute of the match. After 40 minutes, Angelo Errando made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Racing Club's Gogo Azeari tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 43 played minutes Libertador Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Dolfos. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benito Ralondo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Libertador Nacional's Angelo Errando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gogo Azeari narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angelo Errando's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gogo Azeari firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Libertador Nacional's zone, Aquiles Koldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Sasoin came out of the goal and Aquiles Koldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the game, Aquiles Koldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Amado Sasoin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gogo Azeari came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Libertador Nacional's Amancio Dolfos. But to his dismay, Amancio Dolfos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Amado Sasoin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Gaspard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the game, Gualterio Loramendi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Libertador Nacional's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club the free kick. In the 82nd minute, Gualterio Loramendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Benito Ralondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Libertador Nacional played a much better game than Racing Club and deserved their victory. The Racing Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
