Mariano Gaspard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Ek having to interfere. Aquiles Koldo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Racing Club's Gogo Azeari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Kunstmann in the 34th minute of play. If Alejo Santxol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Pehuajó's goalkeeper Claes Ek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Gaspard. Mariano Gaspard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Claes Ek made a huge save. Claes Ek made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Mariano Gaspard sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Pehuajó's Claes Ek got control of the ball when Mariano Gaspard tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Conrado Kunstmann made the kick off in the second half. Conrado Kunstmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramon Frantzes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gogo Azeari. That made the score 0-1 in the 53 minute of play. Claes Ek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejo Santxol's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Alejo Santxol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Ek having to interfere. Mariano Gaspard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Ek having to interfere. Conrado Kunstmann succeeded in the game's 68th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pehuajó's goalkeeper Claes Ek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pehuajó's Conrado Kunstmann was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 75th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Rigoberto Ranolfo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Racing Club's Aquiles Koldo got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alejo Santxol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pehuajó eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
