With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nereo Rito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the match, Cámbrico Inferior's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Oliverio came free, but Nereo Rito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benji Galeas during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jacinto Oliverio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Nereo Rito made a huge save. Manuel Galsino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Piorno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Lars Mellberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Soldevilla AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
