JimenezUnited's Santo Txordon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Javiar in the 13th minute of play. Astor Vimaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Babilonia AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Florencio Baldovino hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, JimenezUnited's Jacinto Bittor got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Marcial Chayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Babilonia AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Chayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santo Txordon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Baldovino in the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Astor Vimaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. JimenezUnited's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Vimaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erubiel Llorienzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute, Marcial Chayo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Babilonia AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Santo Txordon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Chayo in the 46th minute of play. After 46 played minutes JimenezUnited got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Bittor. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcial Chayo got free with Santo Txordon in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Astor Vimaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erubiel Llorienzo having to make a save. Santo Txordon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Javiar in the 61st minute of the match. When Guido Mel fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JimenezUnited's protests and gave Guido Mel a yellow card for diving instead. Guido Mel hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Santo Txordon was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rogelio Palben. In the 93rd minute Babilonia AFC were awarded a corner. Rogelio Palben went to the cornerflag to take it. Florencio Baldovino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 96th match minute, Babilonia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Palben to maneuver through the defense.
