Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rolando Pepillo got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Leandro Alem booed when Babilonia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Karmel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Marcial Chayo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Leandro Alem's Santiago Orkatz. Santiago Orkatz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Babilonia AFC's goalkeeper Erubiel Llorienzo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Javiar in the 16th minute of play forced Leandro Alem's goalkeeper Santiago Orkatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Orkatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Vergaray in the 20th minute of play. Rolando Pepillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Llorienzo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Vergaray in the 27th minute of play forced Leandro Alem's goalkeeper Santiago Orkatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Vergaray took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Orkatz. Santiago Orkatz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Alejo Eduino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Babilonia AFC's zone, Jaime Terciero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erubiel Llorienzo came out of the goal and Jaime Terciero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Leandro Alem defense, Tomas Vergaray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santiago Orkatz. The Leandro Alem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santiago Orkatz should have stopped the shot. Leandro Alem's Santiago Orkatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Chayo in the 45th minute of play. Santiago Orkatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Baldovino in the 46th minute of play. Santiago Orkatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Chayo in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Erubiel Llorienzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolando Pepillo's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Antonio Javiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Orkatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Antonio Javiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Alem's Santiago Orkatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Vergaray in the 57th minute of play. When Rolando Pepillo came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Leandro Alem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Pepillo couldn't finish the play. Santiago Orkatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Vergaray in the 62nd minute of play. Leandro Alem's Santiago Orkatz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Leandro Alem from getting a goal against them. Santiago Orkatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Vergaray in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, David Lluterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the game, Antonio Javiar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santiago Orkatz. Antonio Javiar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Leandro Alem's Santiago Orkatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Javiar in the 80th minute of play. After 93 played minutes Leandro Alem got a freekick which was hit by David Lluterio. Marcial Chayo struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Santiago Orkatz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Babilonia AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Vergaray in the 95th minute of play forced Leandro Alem's goalkeeper Santiago Orkatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erubiel Llorienzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Pepillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Babilonia AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
