But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Sánchez couldn't finish the play. Amancio Valente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Sánchez went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Timoteo Barros struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Amancio Valente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SCASEST IAM NO ST. Amancio Valente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timoteo Barros's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Fredriksson's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Timoteo Barros scored to the left of an out of position Amancio Valente, making the score, 0-7. Timoteo Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Amancio Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Sánchez might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amancio Valente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugo Sánchez ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Hugo Sánchez put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Amancio Valente.
