Desiderio Luar started the match with the kick off. Desiderio Luar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Berdoi having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Ernesto Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Invisibles's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Berdoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Anastasio Guillelme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anastasio Guillelme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Samuel Orain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Desiderio Luar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelino Berdoi was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Samuel Orain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Guillelme in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Ernesto Fernandes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelino Berdoi. Los Borbotones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernesto Fernandes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Los Invisibles's Desiderio Luar in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Borbotones's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute, Eulalio Vergaray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Desiderio Luar came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Los Invisibles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Luar couldn't finish the play. 0-2 became the score in the 39th minute when Ernesto Fernandes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Desiderio Luar might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelino Berdoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Desiderio Luar ran back to his position shaking his head. After 44 played minutes Los Borbotones got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Fernendo. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anastasio Guillelme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernesto Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Orain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Guillelme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Borbotones's Anastasio Guillelme got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Los Borbotones's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Luar came free, but Angelino Berdoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Desiderio Luar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Berdoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Elias Atarratze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Invisibles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Borbotones the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Los Invisibles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Atarratze to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Los Invisibles's Elpidio Bortzaioriz got a free kick in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Ernesto Fernandes notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Los Borbotones's Angelino Berdoi. Angelino Berdoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Fernandes got free with Angelino Berdoi in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Los Borbotones manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Los Invisibles to win.
