Albino Montel kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Leandro Alem's goalkeeper Santiago Orkatz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Astor Vimaro. Astor Vimaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Leandro Alem getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ciriaco Erroman hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Astor Vimaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JimenezUnited fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Astor Vimaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santiago Orkatz. Leandro Alem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Astor Vimaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 23 played minutes JimenezUnited got a freekick which was hit by Guido Mel. Bernardino Garikoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Alejo Eduino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Txordon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Leandro Alem's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Garikoitz came free, but Santiago Orkatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alejo Eduino fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leandro Alem's protests and gave Alejo Eduino a yellow card for diving instead. Astor Vimaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santiago Orkatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Garikoitz in the 43rd minute of the match. Astor Vimaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Santiago Orkatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Astor Vimaro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Astor Vimaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Orkatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Orkatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Vimaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago Orkatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Vimaro in the 57th minute of the match. Jacinto Bittor struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Santiago Orkatz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JimenezUnited. In the 60th minute, Bernardino Cordarryl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. JimenezUnited's Astor Vimaro got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Lluterio kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When Astor Vimaro came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the JimenezUnited fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Vimaro couldn't finish the play. Astor Vimaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Orkatz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Astor Vimaro ran back to his position shaking his head. Astor Vimaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Astor Vimaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JimenezUnited fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 82nd minute Astor Vimaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Orkatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, JimenezUnited's Astor Vimaro made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santiago Orkatz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Astor Vimaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. JimenezUnited's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Vimaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Orkatz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leandro Alem's Santiago Orkatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Garikoitz in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. JimenezUnited had played much better football throughout.
