The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Nicolas Hermon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Filomeno Sugoi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnaldo Cordeara, 1-0. Fredriksson's Amancio Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Hermon in the 19th minute of play. Virgilio Eyague hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If Nicolas Hermon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 minutes of play, Pidagasan's Nicolas Hermon made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amancio Valente was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carmelo Elodio might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amancio Valente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmelo Elodio ran back to his position shaking his head. Fredriksson's Amancio Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Elodio in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Horacio Cai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fredriksson's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Cai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horacio Cai got free with Arnaldo Cordeara in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carmelo Elodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Valente having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fredriksson's Venancio Amor got a free kick in the 37th minute. When Carmelo Elodio came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Pidagasan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Elodio couldn't finish the play. Amancio Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Hermon in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Fredriksson booed when Pidagasan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Bastia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmelo Elodio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amancio Valente having to make a save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After having played for 54 minutes, Carmelo Elodio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pidagasan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Elodio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fredriksson's Amancio Valente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Fredriksson from getting a goal against them. Pidagasan's Arnaldo Cordeara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Amor in the 58th minute of play. Filomeno Sugoi charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filomeno Sugoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Fredriksson's Filomeno Sugoi got a free kick in the 60th minute. Evelio Bastia kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When Paolo Savier fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fredriksson's protests and gave Paolo Savier a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pidagasan booed when Fredriksson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Savier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmelo Elodio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amancio Valente having to make a save. With a little luck, Fredriksson's Amancio Valente got control of the ball when Carmelo Elodio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amancio Valente made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Carmelo Elodio sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd match minute, Pidagasan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Gaskon to maneuver through the defense. Pidagasan were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
