Horacio Chabier came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgardo Bertol slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Beazley's Horacio Chabier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Etxatxu in the 15th minute of play. Edgardo Bertol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Horacio Chabier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Defensores HFC's Tomas Etxatxu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Horacio Chabier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Etxatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Eder got free with Horacio Chabier in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 minutes, Sebastiano Villa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores HFC and the Beazley players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Defensores HFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastiano Villa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Eder in the 44th minute of play forced Beazley's goalkeeper Horacio Chabier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernan Gabino was the one to do the kick off. Beazley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramon Eder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Eder in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horacio Chabier saved Beazley from getting behind. The supporters of Defensores HFC booed when Beazley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Aznar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horacio Chabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Eder in the 84th minute of play. Horacio Chabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Etxatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Defensores HFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
