Alfred Gil hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Defensores HFC's Edgardo Bertol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santo Txordon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores HFC's zone, Astor Vimaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipolito Karlo came out of the goal and Astor Vimaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tomas Etxatxu got free in front of the goal in the 30th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Santo Txordon was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Astor Vimaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hipolito Karlo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 played minutes JimenezUnited got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Garikoitz. Tomas Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Defensores HFC fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Defensores HFC's Tomas Etxatxu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Santo Txordon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Etxatxu in the 69th minute of the match. Hipolito Karlo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Ur, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Edgardo Bertol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Aaron Ur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Hipolito Karlo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Defensores HFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
