Fredriksson's Horacio Cai got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fredriksson's Amancio Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Vimaro in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, JimenezUnited was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Bittor to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Amor in the 25th minute of play forced JimenezUnited's goalkeeper Santo Txordon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santo Txordon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Amor in the 30th minute of play. Jacinto Bittor's late challenge caught a Fredriksson's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Vimaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Amancio Valente made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Fredriksson's zone, Jacinto Bittor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After 68 minutes, Horacio Cai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fredriksson and the JimenezUnited players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Jacinto Bittor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in JimenezUnited fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! If Astor Vimaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Amancio Valente managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when JimenezUnited's Jacinto Bittor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Santo Txordon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Cai in the 79th minute of the match. If Astor Vimaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Arixo took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amancio Valente. Amancio Valente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as JimenezUnited's Astor Vimaro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amancio Valente. That made the score 1-2 after 89 minutes of play. Astor Vimaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Amancio Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the game, Romeo Oihan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fredriksson's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JimenezUnited the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Astor Vimaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. JimenezUnited's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Vimaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amancio Valente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. JimenezUnited's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
