Spectators: 6828 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hernan Gabino started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Balcosna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Ayala to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Bastian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Lenílson Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Bastian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute of the match, Emilio Jaume tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Horacio Chabier saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Americo Teodor got free with Horacio Chabier in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lenílson Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Gabino in the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Beazley's Fausto Bastian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lenílson Sergipano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Hernan Gabino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lenílson Sergipano was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the game, Jacinto Luix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Horacio Chabier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Horacio Chabier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Jaume in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Jacinto Luix recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Horacio Chabier. Jacinto Luix showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Melchor Javiar kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Nicanor Ayala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horacio Chabier was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 34th minute, Fausto Bastian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lenílson Sergipano was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Nicanor Ayala hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Balcosna's Elia Muzzolon seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Elia Muzzolon the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Balcosna protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Elia Muzzolon had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Balcosna! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Americo Teodor was the one to do the kick off. Jacinto Luix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Chabier having to interfere. Hernan Gabino might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lenílson Sergipano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hernan Gabino ran back to his position shaking his head. If Americo Teodor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balcosna's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hernan Gabino 63 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-4. In the 71st minute, Americo Teodor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Luix kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Eugenio Scevola charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugenio Scevola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Beazley booed when Balcosna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Scevola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Gabino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute Nicanor Ayala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Chabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 played minutes Balcosna got a freekick which was hit by Alex Quirino. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Bastian got free with Lenílson Sergipano in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Horacio Chabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Luix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernan Gabino in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lenílson Sergipano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Balcosna's goalie and right to Hernan Gabino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Balcosna's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 95 minutes into the match, Beazley's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Teodor came free, but Horacio Chabier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Gabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenílson Sergipano having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Beazley eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
