Hugo Sánchez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Angelino Berdoi made a huge save. With an all-out effort, SCASEST IAM NO ST's Angelino Berdoi threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Timoteo Barros, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Angelino Berdoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Timoteo Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Angelino Berdoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timoteo Barros in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelino Berdoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
