Spectators: 7331 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Etxatxu got the match started through his kick off. Hermengildo Ilazki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hipolito Karlo. Defensores HFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tomas Etxatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Valente having to interfere. In the 9th minute Ramon Eder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Defensores HFC were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Fredriksson's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michal Krawczyk took the corner. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Tomas Etxatxu sped through Fredriksson's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amancio Valente. Defensores HFC's Michal Krawczyk couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fredriksson. After 24 minutes, Alfred Gil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores HFC and the Fredriksson players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Defensores HFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Gil to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute of the match Romeo Oihan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hipolito Karlo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tomas Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Etxatxu in the 29th minute of the match. Amancio Valente was a little too slow when Tomas Etxatxu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 4-0. After having played for 38 minutes, Edgardo Bertol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores HFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Bertol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastiano Villa in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amancio Valente saved Fredriksson from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, Fredriksson's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Etxatxu came free, but Amancio Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Fredriksson getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Paolo Savier hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Venancio Amor made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Fredriksson's zone, Tomas Etxatxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amancio Valente came out of the goal and Tomas Etxatxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 54 played minutes, Defensores HFC's Alfred Gil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amancio Valente came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Defensores HFC reached it. If Ramon Eder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Defensores HFC's Sebastiano Villa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hermengildo Ilazki, made in the 64th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Tomas Etxatxu put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Amancio Valente. In the 69th minute, Tomas Etxatxu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores HFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Tomas Etxatxu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amancio Valente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramon Eder in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amancio Valente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fredriksson's Amancio Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Etxatxu in the 82nd minute of play. If Edgardo Bertol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Etxatxu struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Amancio Valente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores HFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Eder in the 94th minute of play forced Fredriksson's goalkeeper Amancio Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Tomas Etxatxu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amancio Valente was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Defensores HFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
