Rolando Baraquiel kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Silvano Frutos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sol y Sierra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Frutos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Jerold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casimiro Ekhi kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Eulalio Kauldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Gelmiro having to interfere. The supporters of Sol y Sierra FC booed when Las Sierras Locas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Lobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Silvano Frutos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jairo Jerold was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Rolando Baraquiel took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cayetano Gelmiro. Cayetano Gelmiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Sol y Sierra FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mauro Farias hit a great ball. Cayetano Gelmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Baraquiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Las Sierras Locas's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Farias came free, but Jairo Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rolando Baraquiel came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Las Sierras Locas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Baraquiel couldn't finish the play. Las Sierras Locas's Jairo Jerold proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Las Sierras Locas from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute Rolando Baraquiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Gelmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Eustacio Mitxaut fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sol y Sierra FC's protests and gave Eustacio Mitxaut a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Las Sierras Locas booed when Sol y Sierra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Mitxaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cayetano Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Baraquiel in the 42nd minute of play. The wind increased when Eulalio Kauldi made the kick off in the second half. Jairo Jerold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Frutos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Silvestre Ignazio made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Jerold. Las Sierras Locas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Jairo Jerold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Ignazio in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute Eulalio Kauldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Gelmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvano Frutos in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jairo Jerold saved Las Sierras Locas from getting behind. Eulalio Kauldi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cayetano Gelmiro having to make a save. Eulalio Kauldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Cayetano Gelmiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eulalio Kauldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Jerold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Frutos in the 76th minute of play. When Eulalio Kauldi came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Las Sierras Locas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Kauldi couldn't finish the play. After 80 played minutes Sol y Sierra FC got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Farias. A hard and well directed shot from Rolando Baraquiel led 81 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Sol y Sierra FC's Cayetano Gelmiro became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-2. Las Sierras Locas's Eulalio Kauldi got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute Silvano Frutos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Jerold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jairo Jerold showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Frutos in the 97th minute of play forced Las Sierras Locas's goalkeeper Jairo Jerold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Las Sierras Locas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
