After 7 minutes of play, San Lorenzo de Haedo's Tobias Belasko made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natalio Lehior was left in no man's land by his defense there! San Lorenzo de Haedo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Victorio Botello 11 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pastor Rencio during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of San Lorenzo de Haedo booed when Sopapa y Cotonete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Rencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Belasko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laureano Curcio scored 2-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Segundo Belarmo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Segundo Belarmo was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Desiderio Ciano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Desiderio Ciano really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Laureano Curcio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Segundo Belarmo made a huge save. Natalio Lehior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Lauro in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laureano Curcio got free with Segundo Belarmo in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 38 played minutes San Lorenzo de Haedo got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Eate. In the 41st minute, Gualterio Jaunti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laureano Curcio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Segundo Belarmo made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victorio Botello to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Roberto Belasko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonardo Suero hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Desiderio Ciano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sopapa y Cotonete FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Ciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Segundo Belarmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 68 minutes into the match, Ernesto Udalaitz notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of San Lorenzo de Haedo's Segundo Belarmo. Segundo Belarmo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Segundo Belarmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Curcio in the 71st minute of play. Natalio Lehior showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Lauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Desiderio Ciano's late challenge caught a San Lorenzo de Haedo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Desiderio Ciano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sopapa y Cotonete FC's Desiderio Ciano got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Godfredo Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Lehior having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Haedo's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Ciano came free, but Segundo Belarmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Udalaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Sopapa y Cotonete FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
