After a rather tough play, Arteaga FC's Patricio Harkaitz got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute, Artur Coimbra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Arteaga FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Patricio Harkaitz hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Aquiles Oinaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 played minutes El Sojero F.C got a freekick which was hit by Teo Neto. In the 12th minute, Arteaga FC's Vicente Ciceron ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paul Şoimaru. Paul Şoimaru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Paul Şoimaru successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucio Vincent during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Omar Barea charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Omar Barea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diego Frans who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Paul Şoimaru when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Diego Frans got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paul Şoimaru quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Paul Şoimaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Oihenarte in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Frans got free with Paul Şoimaru in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Ciceron in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paul Şoimaru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Arteaga FC's Vicente Ciceron fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 45 played minutes, Arteaga FC's Tomás Feo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paul Şoimaru came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arteaga FC reached it. After 47 played minutes Arteaga FC got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Oinaz. 47 minutes into the match, El Sojero F.C's Blas Cruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Martxelin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Paul Şoimaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Ciceron in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Blas Cruz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vicente Martxelin, passed just outside the right post. The audience was convinced that Vicente Ciceron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Şoimaru was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 59th minute Diego Frans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Şoimaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Ciceron in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paul Şoimaru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arteaga FC's Vicente Martxelin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Arteaga FC from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute, Oscar Oihenarte made a precise shot to the right of Paul Şoimaru. El Sojero F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 70thth minute of the game Vicente Ciceron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Sojero F.C's Paul Şoimaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Omar Barea took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Martxelin. Vicente Martxelin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Paul Şoimaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Frans in the 74th minute of play. Paul Şoimaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Ciceron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Sojero F.C's Paul Şoimaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Frans in the 80th minute of play. If Diego Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Ciceron struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Paul Şoimaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arteaga FC. Octavio Venceslao kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute Vicente Ciceron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Şoimaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Arteaga FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Sojero F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
