With an all-out effort, Fragueyro AFC's Cayetano Alvarez threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eriberto Llope, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leo Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Lain in the 6th minute of play. The corner led Liniers's Tadeo Matteo to fire away a dangerous shot which Leo Gau despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cayetano Alvarez was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Eriberto Llope capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eriberto Llope really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of Liniers booed when Fragueyro AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Goi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Lain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Gau having to interfere. Baltasar Abel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Cayetano Alvarez made a huge save. Fidel Mancio hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Cayetano Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Llope in the 31st minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Alejo Pabla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liniers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fragueyro AFC the free kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

A collision led to Liniers getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Reynaldo Bermudez hit a great ball. After 53 played minutes, Fragueyro AFC's Cipriano Guilabertus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cayetano Alvarez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fragueyro AFC reached it. Baltasar Abel took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cayetano Alvarez. Cayetano Alvarez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, Fragueyro AFC's Baltasar Erramun got a free kick in the 65th minute. Cayetano Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Erramun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cayetano Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Abel in the 71st minute of play. Amancio Diegotxe kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Goi in the 75th minute of play forced Liniers's goalkeeper Cayetano Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Fragueyro AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Liniers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
