Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5503, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 120) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vicente Ciceron made the kick off which started today's match. Haroldo Chesus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Ciceron in the 10th minute of the match. Diego Frans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Chesus having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Vicente Ciceron lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Haroldo Chesus. Haroldo Chesus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Frans in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute Vicente Ciceron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Chesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldo Chesus made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Aquiles Oinaz sent off a good shot on target. Diego Frans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Haroldo Chesus made a huge save. Arteaga FC's Vicente Martxelin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Lonzo in the 24th minute of play. Roberto Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Lonzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Vicente Martxelin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Frans who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Haroldo Chesus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aquiles Oinaz charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquiles Oinaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, Arteaga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Oinaz to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Águilas Futbol Club getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Eustacio Jakes hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Roberto Santana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute Vicente Ciceron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Chesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Lonzo to make the kick off. Haroldo Chesus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Elia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute Francisco Lonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Martxelin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Vicente Ciceron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haroldo Chesus. Águilas Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Ciceron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Lonzo in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Martxelin saved Arteaga FC from getting behind. After 63 minutes, Tomás Feo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arteaga FC and the Águilas Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Tomás Feo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Vicente Martxelin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquiles Oinaz was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 70 played minutes Arteaga FC got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Oinaz. Nicasio Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Martxelin having to interfere. The supporters of Arteaga FC booed when Águilas Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Oliverios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Frans was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Oscar Oihenarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Arteaga FC's Pablo Eusko got a free kick in the 87th minute. Vicente Martxelin came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Águilas Futbol Club's Roberto Santana. But to his dismay, Roberto Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Vicente Ciceron's late challenge caught a Águilas Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Ciceron helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Vicente Ciceron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Águilas Futbol Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
