Anastasio Fortun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Victoriano Gines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Gines couldn't finish the play. Saverio Otsando charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saverio Otsando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes C.A Picadillis got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Otsando. When Leandro Havier fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caballeros de la Angustia's protests and gave Leandro Havier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute Melquiades Demesio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Darien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Caballeros de la Angustia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C.A Picadillis throughout the match.
