After a defensive mix-up in Lucas AC's zone, Lisandro Xabel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilano Barto came out of the goal and Lisandro Xabel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atilano Barto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Xabel in the 22nd minute of play. Lisandro Xabel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Atilano Barto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 minutes of play, ME VOY AL MAZO's Silverio Rodriguez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atilano Barto was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the game, one of ME VOY AL MAZO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Silverio Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatan Cheche kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Lisandro Xabel managed to get in a good position for a shot. ME VOY AL MAZO's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Xabel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Barto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Silverio Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisandro Xabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rd match minute, ME VOY AL MAZO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Lano to maneuver through the defense. Arnoldo Gilen kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 64 minutes, Arnoldo Gilen mouthed his way into the referee's book. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Remir charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Remir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lucas AC booed when ME VOY AL MAZO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Remir didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Zachariasz Kempski fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lucas AC's protests and gave Zachariasz Kempski a yellow card for diving instead. Zachariasz Kempski hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Atilano Barto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lisandro Xabel in the 73rd minute. If Zachariasz Kempski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute.
