Spectators: 6684 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 0) Boca Juniors's Cipriano Pacifico started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Pacifico in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilbert Björkkvist saved Merced FC from getting behind. Leopoldo Patxi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Teodosio Kiliz made a huge save. Boca Juniors's Cipriano Pacifico got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the game, Hipolito Gartzea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boca Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merced FC the free kick. Hipolito Gartzea hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Gilbert Björkkvist came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Cipriano Pacifico. But to his dismay, Cipriano Pacifico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 31st minute, Guillermo Emesto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilbert Björkkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Ledesma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cipriano Pacifico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Boca Juniors's Cipriano Pacifico in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Merced FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gilbert Björkkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Pacifico in the 43rd minute of the match. Generoso Olayo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Gilbert Björkkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Pacifico's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Pacifico in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilbert Björkkvist saved Merced FC from getting behind. Gilbert Björkkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldo Arce went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Cipriano Pacifico put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Gilbert Björkkvist. In the 75th minute Cipriano Pacifico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Björkkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Pacifico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Gilbert Björkkvist made a huge save. Gilbert Björkkvist came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Moises Ellande. But to his dismay, Moises Ellande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Moises Ellande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Gilbert Björkkvist made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Emesto in the 88th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Teodosio Kiliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodosio Kiliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Emesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cipriano Pacifico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Kiliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Emesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. After a rather tough play, Merced FC's Generoso Olayo got a free kick in the 99th minute. When the final whistle sounded Boca Juniors left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Merced FC.
