Spectators: 7385 (Terracing: 5540, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Teobaldo Veremundo kicked off to start the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Nel couldn't finish the play. Teobaldo Veremundo might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vinicio Guillen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobaldo Veremundo ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Atletico Neuquen booed when Pozancón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Kismi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pozancón's zone, Nicasio Urti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Guillen came out of the goal and Nicasio Urti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Benicio Favila made the kick off in the second half. Vinicio Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Veremundo in the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Asier in the 53rd minute of play forced Pozancón's goalkeeper Vinicio Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute Teobaldo Veremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Guillen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Nel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nicasio Urti fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Neuquen's protests and gave Nicasio Urti a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes Atletico Neuquen got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Urti. Nicasio Urti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Vinicio Guillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Resto charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higinio Resto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes Atletico Neuquen got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Resto. Jacinto Nel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Vinicio Guillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pozancón's Vinicio Guillen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Pozancón from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute, Saturnino Silvanito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Teobaldo Veremundo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vinicio Guillen was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 80th minute Teobaldo Veremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Guillen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
