Spectators: 6677 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Guillermo Emesto took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Berzemú got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Rosado. 12 minutes into the match, Berzemú's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Olayo came free, but Francois Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Berzemú's Francois Armani got control of the ball when Humberto Viator tried to sneak it across the goal line. Berzemú's Francois Armani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Berzemú from getting a goal against them. Paulão Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gilbert Björkkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Patxi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Francois Armani skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gilbert Björkkvist came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Berzemú's Natalio Lehoi. But to his dismay, Natalio Lehoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Elias Mateus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Pol Uchiha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berzemú's supporters rose to their feet, but Pol Uchiha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilbert Björkkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute Paulão Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Björkkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Merced FC's Humberto Viator got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th match minute, Berzemú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pol Uchiha to maneuver through the defense. Emiliano Janpier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Francois Armani. Berzemú's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half Berzemú were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elias Mateus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domingos Benino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Berzemú's Elias Mateus got a free kick in the 55th minute. Guillermo Emesto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elias Mateus might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilbert Björkkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Mateus ran back to his position shaking his head. After 60 played minutes Berzemú got a freekick which was hit by Pol Uchiha. Merced FC's Emiliano Janpier couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Berzemú. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Lehoi in the 64th minute of play forced Merced FC's goalkeeper Gilbert Björkkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Merced FC's zone, Natalio Lehoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Björkkvist came out of the goal and Natalio Lehoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute, Natalio Lehoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Elias Mateus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elias Mateus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Gilbert Björkkvist made a huge save. 83 minutes into the match, Berzemú's Elias Mateus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilbert Björkkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elias Mateus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Gilbert Björkkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilbert Björkkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Lehoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Francois Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Olayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Berzemú's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
