Spectators: 7350 (Terracing: 5513, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gogo Oliverio got the match started through his kick off. Paulo Niva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Oliverio in the 7th minute of the match. Paulo Niva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Oliverio in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Independiente Mza's Antonio Gelacio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Niva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Atlético Vinland's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Oliverio came free, but Paulo Niva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Atlético Vinland's Tomás Brion in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Independiente Mza's goalie prevented a goal. 33 minutes into the game, Antonio Gelacio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Paulo Niva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Independiente Mza's Claudio Amundarain got a free kick in the 40th minute. Dráuzio Marques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Brion's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Cirilo Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráuzio Marques having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Independiente Mza's Christian Columbo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Brion in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dráuzio Marques saved Independiente Mza from getting behind. In the 46th minute Gogo Oliverio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Niva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

With a little luck, Atlético Vinland's Paulo Niva got control of the ball when Antonio Gelacio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dráuzio Marques came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Vinland's Cirilo Santos. But to his dismay, Cirilo Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Tomás Brion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dráuzio Marques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. If Gogo Oliverio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Atlético Vinland! Dráuzio Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Brion in the 72nd minute of play. Dráuzio Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Brion, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 77 minutes into the match, Claudio Amundarain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Niva. Atlético Vinland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Amundarain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Gogo Oliverio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulo Niva came out and tried to block the shot, but Gogo Oliverio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 83rd minute. After 88 played minutes Independiente Mza got a freekick which was hit by Santo Ovando. The supporters of Atlético Vinland booed when Independiente Mza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Gonza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Independiente Mza players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
