After having played for 4 minutes, Eustacio Gentza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuervos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustacio Gentza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eustacio Gentza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Froilan Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Pirmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Urtun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Alfonso Gonsalvo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yeso's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Gonsalvo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Pirmin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Zeledon Urtun came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Yeso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Urtun couldn't finish the play. If Froilan Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Pirmin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Urtun, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Yeso's zone, Eustacio Gentza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Costa came out of the goal and Eustacio Gentza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustacio Gentza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Paulo Costa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Yeso's Paulo Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Mark in the 35th minute of play. Zeledon Urtun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Urtun in the 42nd minute of play forced Cuervos FC's goalkeeper Cosme Pirmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Gonsalvo in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosme Pirmin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Cuervos FC booed when Yeso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Amato didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Mark was the one to do the kick off. When Eustacio Gentza came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Cuervos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustacio Gentza couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Mark in the 63rd minute of play forced Yeso's goalkeeper Paulo Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Quintyn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cuervos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yeso the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Tiburcio Quintyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Yeso getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Angel Opilano hit a great ball. Alfonso Gonsalvo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cosme Pirmin having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Gonsalvo got free with Cosme Pirmin in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efrain Dacio during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Efrain Dacio kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Paulo Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Mark, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Eustacio Gentza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 96 played minutes Yeso got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Mitxel. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
