Elvio Chan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cabildo booed when Los Picantes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Chan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauricio Firmin struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Felipe Chorache didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Picantes. 21 minutes into the match, Cabildo's Abel Tabby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Amaya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fausto Amaya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leandro Quinteros charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leandro Quinteros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th minute Benicio Javiero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Chorache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cabildo played a much better game than Los Picantes and deserved their victory. The Los Picantes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
