The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tomas Wittemans came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cacharí FC's Severo Criston. But to his dismay, Severo Criston quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, Cacharí FC's Constantino Selmo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Wittemans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Deportivo Roca booed when Cacharí FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Elija didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes Deportivo Roca got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Veronica. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Constantino Selmo sped through Deportivo Roca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomas Wittemans. In the 45th minute, Constantino Selmo shot a free kick towards goal which, to his disappointment, went just outside the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Americo Gentza was the one to do the kick off. Constantino Selmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Wittemans having to interfere. Tomas Wittemans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severo Criston went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Severo Criston put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tomas Wittemans. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cacharí FC fully deserved thier win.
