Spectators: 7299 (Terracing: 5476, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aristides Montez started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Libertad's Rigoberto Arano got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Honorio Xabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodosio Lalla came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Perritos's Gabriel Kepa. But to his dismay, Gabriel Kepa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Teodosio Lalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Montez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Lalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Kepa in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Perritos's Gabriel Kepa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodosio Lalla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Libertad's Ruperto Umea got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 25 played minutes, Perritos's Javier Haimar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teodosio Lalla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Perritos reached it. Honorio Xabier hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Aristides Montez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodosio Lalla was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Perritos's Aristides Montez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodosio Lalla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Gabriel Kepa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gabriel Kepa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgilio Restu was the one to do the kick off. Teodosio Lalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Kepa in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Aristides Montez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute Aristides Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Lalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Perritos's Aristides Montez got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodosio Lalla made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Gabriel Kepa sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Libertad's goalkeeper Teodosio Lalla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulino Paul. Libertad's Teodosio Lalla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Libertad from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Perritos getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Aristides Montez hit a great ball. Teodosio Lalla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Montez in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Libertad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Ubelteso to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Libertad's zone, Javier Haimar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Lalla came out of the goal and Javier Haimar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Perritos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
