Spectators: 7455 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dalmacio Urtats started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hernan Ieltxu during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hernan Ieltxu kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Haedo FC's Bartolo Nel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Emilio Pacho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Tino in the 13th minute. Paulo Ricart kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Hector Ferdinand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Emilio Pacho made a huge save. Humberto Corderro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Urtats in the 18th minute of play. If Bartolo Nel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Ricart kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jasimaná's zone, Hector Ferdinand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Pacho came out of the goal and Hector Ferdinand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Jasimaná's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bartolo Nel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Gregorio Silvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Pacho having to interfere. Humberto Corderro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeledon Librado in the 55th minute. Bartolo Nel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jasimaná's zone, Jonathan Tino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Pacho came out of the goal and Jonathan Tino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Bartolo Nel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Haedo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 74th minute Hector Ferdinand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Pacho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Jasimaná's Humberto Corderro threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dalmacio Urtats, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vicente Caradaro kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Zeledon Librado could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Humberto Corderro however easily saved by the left post. Hector Ferdinand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Emilio Pacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Jasimaná got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Ricart. Haedo FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
