After having played for 7 minutes, Paulo Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parque General Paz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cristiano de Salles fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parque General Paz's protests and gave Cristiano de Salles a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Parque General Paz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano de Salles to maneuver through the defense. After 16th play minutes Paulo Nunes shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Daniel Eufrasio and just under the crossbar into goal. Cristobal Blasi got in the 20th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Carlos Amor handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Carlos Amor was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Bartolo Roldan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bartolo Roldan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Daniel Eufrasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Nunes struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Daniel Eufrasio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parque General Paz. 39 minutes into the match, Aquila Meto notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of betoben's Daniel Eufrasio. Daniel Eufrasio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ceferino Tadzio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Amor came out and tried to block the shot, but Ceferino Tadzio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 44th minute. After 48 played minutes Parque General Paz got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano de Salles.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Nunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Eufrasio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Nunes in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in betoben's zone, Atilano Rico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Eufrasio came out of the goal and Atilano Rico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the game, Atilano Rico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Parque General Paz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave betoben the free kick. A collision led to Parque General Paz getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Aquila Meto hit a great ball. When Cristobal Blasi came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the betoben fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Blasi couldn't finish the play. If Paulo Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astor Perro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67 minutes, Ceferino Tadzio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the betoben and the Parque General Paz players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th match minute, betoben was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Tadzio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Palben in the 71st minute of play forced Parque General Paz's goalkeeper Carlos Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Paulo Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atilano Rico in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Eufrasio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Paulo Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Nunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Eufrasio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Nunes ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Eufrasio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Nunes in the 89th minute. If Atilano Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Nunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Daniel Eufrasio made a huge save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Parque General Paz players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
