In the 8th minute, Jonathan Tino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Amor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Alberto Weather in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Haedo FC's Jonathan Tino. 15 minutes into the match, Parque General Paz's goalkeeper Carlos Amor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Tino. Hector Ferdinand's late challenge caught a Parque General Paz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Ferdinand helped the player get up and apologised. Parque General Paz's Carlos Amor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Parque General Paz from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Tino might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Amor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Tino ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Teobaldo Lop managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parque General Paz's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobaldo Lop was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Corderro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Parque General Paz's Teobaldo Lop got a free kick in the 31st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonathan Tino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Amor. That made the score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Tino in the 40th minute of play forced Parque General Paz's goalkeeper Carlos Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartolo Nel kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Nunes made a kick off. A collision led to Parque General Paz getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Alberto Weather hit a great ball. The Haedo FC fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Haedo FC's Hector Ferdinand looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Paulo Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute of the match, Paulo Nunes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Humberto Corderro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clodoveo Gomez during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clodoveo Gomez kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Haedo FC made a substitution. Ciriaco Iztal replaced Gregorio Silvino. With a little luck, Haedo FC's Humberto Corderro got control of the ball when Serafin Monico tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute, Vicente Caradaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Parque General Paz's goalkeeper Carlos Amor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Haedo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquila Meto came free, but Humberto Corderro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Bartolo Nel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Haedo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Carlos Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Nel in the 95th minute of play.
